A cracked bracket is a safety matter rather than a cosmetic one.

Key Features

Original Öhlins service part

Öhlins part number 02245-12

What It Is

There is no measurement to check here — the number and the exploded view identify it. Brackets and housings position the component precisely enough that it works as designed. Mounting hardware is specific to the machine and the unit it belongs to. Öhlins anodises housings for corrosion resistance rather than for looks.

Original Öhlins Part

Öhlins publishes dimensions for its service parts so a workshop can verify before it fits. Öhlins lists this part under its own number in the service catalogue so a workshop can order exactly what it needs. Service parts are ordered per piece unless stated otherwise. Öhlins numbers do not follow a logic you can guess — always read them from the documentation.

Identifying the Right Part

The reliable route is the exploded drawing: find the position, read the number, order it — 02245-12 in this case. Where no measurement is given, the drawing position is what identifies the part. Reservoir housings hold the gas charge and are pressure-rated accordingly. Mounting hardware is model-specific — the damper body may be common, the brackets never are.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 02245-12

Category: Brackets

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/02245-12_3f956d54-ca1c-4c66-8184-66d22e9f1a16.png?v=1788871643
