Click adjusters work through a needle in a seat; the detent spring gives the clicks their feel. Electronically controlled adjusters replace the needle with a solenoid but keep the same hydraulics. Adjuster housings carry seals, and a leak there empties the damper as surely as a shaft seal.

Genuine Service Part

Öhlins manufactures service parts on the same lines as production parts — there is no second quality. Suspension is one of the few areas where the original part is genuinely the cheaper decision. We can check the number against the Öhlins exploded view before you order — just ask. For a full rebuild, the seal kit plus the wear parts is usually the sensible order.

Getting the Number Right

If the unit is already open, compare the dimensions below with the part in your hand before ordering 03617-04. Öhlins does not publish a dimension here — go by the number and the exploded view. Needle and seat together meter the bleed flow; damage to either changes the whole adjustment range. Adjuster housings carry seals, and a leak there empties the damper as surely as a shaft seal.

Fitting and Setup Service

Ask us about a full service: as an authorised Öhlins centre we strip, inspect, replace what is worn and set the unit back to its specification.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 03617-04

Category: Preload Parts

Finish: Black

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/03617-04_13d15447-2b77-4652-a49e-31eca7c7812c.png?v=1788872451
