LighTech's OBT009 carries the reservoir at 28.9 mm height and 31 mm out from the mount. The bracket comes black; colour lives on the reservoir, not the mount. LighTech lists it for the TRACER 700; mounting is straightforward and reversible.

Key Features

Made in Italy

LighTech part number OBT009, listed for the Yamaha TRACER 700

Reversible — the original part goes back on the TRACER 700 any time

Decides where the reservoir ends up on the TRACER 700

Sold separately from the reservoir, as LighTech supplies it

It is the smallest line on the order

Choosing Front or Rear

The bracket is the part that has to suit the TRACER 700, not the tank. The OBT009 is the rear of the two brackets, measuring 28.9 mm and 31 mm. It is the smallest part of the installation.

In the Workshop

Allow half an hour on the TRACER 700 including bleeding. Offer the bracket up before tightening — the hose run on the TRACER 700 decides the angle. Everything removed from the TRACER 700 can go straight back on.

Fitment and Compatibility

LighTech catalogues the OBT009 for the TRACER 700 (2016 to 2026). Mounting is simple, but where it ends up on the TRACER 700 is your decision, not a fixed point.

Scope of Delivery

One bracket per package for the TRACER 700. LighTech keeps it as a stock item.

Care and Checks

Anodised aluminium takes brake cleaner badly; keep it off the OBT009. Otherwise it is a fit-and-forget item on the TRACER 700.

Sold Separately

The OBT009 is a bracket and nothing else. It carries the OBT reservoir family (001, 006 and 007), which are ordered separately. If you are starting from nothing on the TRACER 700, you need both lines on the order.

Approval and Safety

Brake components are regulated for the obvious reason, and this is one. There is no type approval for the OBT009; we say that plainly rather than bury it. Ask your inspection body about the TRACER 700 before fitting, and do not skip the bleed.

Technical Data

Brand: LighTech

Part number: OBT009

Type: Reservoir bracket, rear

Height: 28.9 mm

Projection: 31 mm

Material: Anodised aluminium

Finish: Black only

Fits reservoirs: OBT001, OBT006, OBT007

Weight: 10 g

Fitment: Yamaha TRACER 700 (2016 to 2026)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_OBT009_3e287a89-5a97-47b2-a1e3-5a10bbb1bc89.png?v=1791204580
https://inter-pace.com/en-py/products/lightech-reservoir-bracket-rear-yamaha-tracer-700-2016-2026-obt009
