The LighTech ISS118 is the replaceable aluminium end cap for the clutch lever guard. 7 colour options are available, none of which affect fitment on the motorcycle. It is listed by LighTech for the motorcycle and sold individually.

Key Features

Anodised aluminium, 8 g

No tools beyond a hex key

Stock item at LighTech

LighTech part number ISS118, the replaceable end cap

Same thread and seat as the original cap

Fits the LighTech clutch lever guard range

A Wear Part by Design

Guards are consumables at one end and permanent at the other. The ISS118 replaces that tip on its own. Renewing the cap keeps the motorcycle guard in service.

Fitment

LighTech's fitment for the ISS118 is the motorcycle (the current range). No part of the motorcycle is drilled or cut; the guard mounts at the bar end.

Scope of Delivery

The ISS118 is supplied as a single cap. The adapter is a separate line and is not included with the ISS118. Worn parts are renewed individually, which is the point of the system.

Fitting

Fitting the ISS118 to a motorcycle is a bar-end job with hand tools. Re-check the fasteners after the first ride, as with anything at the bar end. Mirrors and bar-end weights have to come off the motorcycle first.

Road Approval and Regulations

Clutch lever guards are rarely mandated, which does not make them pointless. LighTech supplies no type approval with the ISS118, and we claim none. Track and paddock use raise no question.

Technical Data

Brand: LighTech

Part number: ISS118

Type: Lever guard end cap

Material: Anodised aluminium

Function: Replaceable guard end

Bush colours: 7 — Black, Blue, Gold, Green, Orange, Red, Silver

Weight: 8 g

Supplied as: Single item

Fitment: Universal

Road approval: None supplied
