The JP ES 007 takes the Tuono V4 1100's secondary air valve out of the circuit and leaves the panel clean.

What It Deletes
The electrically opened valve that admits air to the exhaust ports on a closed throttle, and the fault the controller raises the moment it is unplugged.
Winding Continuity
Read at every start. The controller cannot tell a deliberate deletion from a broken wire and warns accordingly.
The Expected Impedance
This unit answers with it, so nothing appears on the panel and nothing is written into fault memory.
Ten Seventy-Seven
Aprilia enlarged the Tuono's V4 in 2015 while leaving the superbike at a litre. It was done for midrange rather than for a peak figure and it worked.
A Superbike Chassis With Bars
The Tuono has always been an RSV4 with the fairing removed and the ergonomics changed. Nothing about the frame or the engine is softened.
Overrun Crackle
With no fairing to muffle it, the noise from residue burning in the header is unmistakable. A different silencer only makes it clearer.
Before a Remap
Air entering downstream of combustion moves the lambda readings, and every fuelling decision made afterwards inherits the error.
Ten Model Years
Aprilia kept the secondary air arrangement unchanged across the whole run, so one part number covers all of it.
The Cover Completes It
The reed pack remains on the cylinder heads until the mechanical half is replaced.
Homologation
The system is part of the approval and its removal ends road legality in Europe.
A Hundred and Seventy-Five Horsepower
In a chassis with wide bars and no fairing at all. The Tuono has won more group tests than almost any motorcycle of its generation because it does the things that matter on a road better than machines with more impressive specification sheets.
