Riders who use their Kawasaki ZZR1400 in all conditions, from early spring to late autumn, need a rear brake that works whether the pad is cold, warm, dry or wet. Accossato's AGPP143 rear pad in the Sintered mixture covers the ZZR1400 from 2006 to 2019, including the ABS model, the SE and the Performance Sport. It is designed for riders who tour in all weather and often carry a passenger.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato's description of the Sintered compound focuses on a high and constant grip level across temperatures and good performance in the wet. For the rear of a ZZR1400 that tours in all weather, this provides a predictable pedal response on every ride. Accossato also names slow wear, limited heat to resist fade and strong braking.
Rear Brake in Bad Weather
When roads are wet, riders use the rear brake of the ZZR1400 more often to slow the bike without loading the front tyre too suddenly. With a passenger, more weight sits on the rear wheel, which makes the rear brake even more useful. A Sintered pad keeps its response on a wet disc, which gives confidence in rain and on greasy surfaces.
Clean the rear caliper after wet rides, especially in winter when salt is on the roads. Check pad wear more often in the wet season.
Which Rear Pad?
Accossato also makes AGPP143 in Organic. Riders who mainly ride in dry weather and value quietness may prefer it. For all-weather riding, the Sintered version is the more suitable choice.
Fitment and Compatibility
Every ZZR1400 in Accossato's list shares the AGPP143 rear plate, from the first bikes of 2006 to the last of 2019, with the ABS, SE and Performance Sport variants included. At the front, the catalogue shows AGPA107, and DK235 is the disc. One box is enough for the single rear caliper.
Road Approval
No ABE or German approval documents for AGPP143ST are available to us. It is sold for racing and track use.
