The first laps of free practice are where levers get broken. The track is unfamiliar or freshly prepared, the tyres are cold, and riders push to find the lines before the session ends. An FC 450 is a great deal of bike to be learning a new circuit on, and a mistake in those first minutes usually costs a control rather than anything expensive. Accossato lists the AGS14 for the FC 450 from 2014 to 2016, a silver clutch lever in the original shape.

Construction and Material Quality
The AGS14 carries no badge and no new shape. Accossato classes it as an original spare parts type, meaning a lever made to the outline Husqvarna used on the FC 450, offered as an economical replacement for a part riders go through. The company states that the way these levers are manufactured leaves them more resistant after damage or a fall, and it gives the colour for this bike as silver. Nothing else is published about the part, and nothing else is claimed in this text.
The First Laps of Free Practice
A short routine before practice saves more time than it costs. Walk the track if you can, so the first lap is not spent reading the ground, and go over the bike while the engine warms. Both levers should move through their full travel and return on their own; the clutch lever in particular wants a small amount of free play at rest, so that the master cylinder piston can come back and the system can equalise. Check that the perch is at the angle you like and clamped only moderately, so that it turns in a fall instead of bending. Look at the bar ends and the grips. Then ride the first lap at a pace that lets you look around. If the session does end with the FC 450 on its side, inspect the left-hand side properly before going out again: a clutch lever bent even slightly will foul near the top of its travel, and a clutch that does not disengage fully is a problem in the next rut, not on the bench.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato's list shows the AGS14 for the FC 450 from 2014 to 2016, with the AGS17 following for 2018 to 2021; nothing is listed for 2017 on the clutch side. This lever is one of the most widely shared in the range and appears in our catalogue under the FE 350, the KTM 125SX and the Beta RR 390 4T. The brake levers of the original type for the FC 450 are the AGD316 and the AGD14. Accossato's CNC clutch levers for this bike are the C7283 and the C7284.
Road Approval
