DescriptionThe whole story▼
Loading a bike into a van without help is the moment most likely to damage a machine that has just been cleaned. The ramp moves, the rear wheel steps sideways, and a 350EXC-F SIX DAYS ends up leaning against the door frame with all its weight on one end of the handlebar. Nobody sees it happen and nobody admits it afterwards. Accossato lists the AGD316 for this model from 2014 to 2023, a silver front brake lever in the original form.
Key Features
- Front brake lever in the original form for the KTM 350EXC-F SIX DAYS
- Accossato's entry covers 2014 to 2023
- Silver
- Right-hand side, front brake
- An original spare parts type rather than a performance part
- The maker reports better resistance after damage or a collision
- One lever per pack
- No approval documentation held; for racing and competition
Construction and Material Quality
The AGD316 is a spare in the plainest sense. It follows the outline of the brake lever the 350EXC-F SIX DAYS was delivered with, which means it works with the perch and the master cylinder already fitted and leaves the machine looking untouched, an argument that carries weight on a model people keep. Accossato calls the range an original spare parts type, developed so that a repair is affordable, and states that the process used in manufacture leaves these levers more resistant after damage or a collision. Silver is the colour for this application. Beyond that the manufacturer publishes nothing, and neither does this text.
Alone With a Ramp
Handling a bike by yourself is a skill, and it is worth being systematic rather than brave. Use a ramp long enough to give a shallow angle, and secure the bottom of it so that it cannot walk backwards as the weight transfers. Walk beside the machine rather than riding it up, keep the front brake covered with two fingers, and be ready to let the bike go against the side of the van rather than trying to hold it with your body. Inside, the straps matter as much as the ramp. Pull the forks down only as far as you need, use both sides evenly, and never let a strap run across the controls, because compressing a lever for three hours on a motorway does the pivot no favours and a strap that slips onto a blade can bend it without anybody noticing. Check the cockpit when you unload, not when you next ride. Sight along the lever, feel the pivot for play, and look at the perch clamp to see whether it has been knocked round. If anything has moved, set it back and tighten the clamp firmly rather than savagely, since an off-road perch should still be able to rotate in a fall. The alternative to all this is discovering the damage on a Sunday morning, which is how most riders learn the lesson in the first place.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the AGD316 for the 350EXC-F SIX DAYS from 2014 to 2023 and gives the AGS14 on the clutch side from 2012 to 2023, so each half of the bar has one original-type code. The brake entry appears throughout this family and is also catalogued with us for the Husqvarna FC 350, the Husqvarna FE 501 and the Husqvarna TE 125. Riders who want a tuning part rather than a spare will find Accossato's CNC levers for this model under B8303 and C7303.
Road Approval
There is no German ABE and no test mark for the AGD316 in our documentation, because none was supplied to us, and the lever is listed for racing and competition purposes.
