DescriptionThe whole story▼
Honda kept the CRF230F in production largely unchanged for well over a decade, from 2003 through 2015, and this single-hose Accossato kit covers the whole of that run under the Standard layout. A trail bike like this one, used on mixed off-road and fire-road riding, benefits from a braided line mainly in how consistent the lever stays after repeated hard stops on loose surfaces, season after season of use.
Key Features
- Single braided hose for the CRF230F
- Standard (S) layout, matching the original hose routing
- Aeronautical braid sheath in 20 colours
- Stainless steel fittings as standard, or painted stainless in red, green, blue, black or gold
- Covers the full 2003-2015 production run in one part
- Finished ready to fit in place of the original rubber hose
Construction and Material Quality
This single hose is built from a stainless mesh wound over the pressure line, and the fitting on this application can be left bare or specified in red, green, blue, black or gold stainless. The complete twenty-colour sheath range applies, giving plenty of choice of finish even though the circuit itself needs only the one braided line to complete the job.
A Long Production Run, One Part
Few Honda off-road models stayed in the catalogue as long as the CRF230F did without a major redesign, and Accossato's data reflects that by listing a single hose that covers every year from 2003 to 2015 without a break. A workshop can stock this one part with confidence that it fits any CRF230F that comes through the door, regardless of exactly which year it was built or which market it was originally sold into.
Fitment and Compatibility
This hose covers the Honda CRF230F across its whole 2003-2015 production run, with Accossato recording no alternative layout or hose-count variant for this particular trail bike. Confirm the model year against the Fitment tab before placing an order, simply to be sure of the exact build year and avoid an unnecessary return of the part once it arrives at your workshop.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for this kit; it is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
