Öhlins pressure-tests hoses because they carry the full gas charge. Hose length is specific to the installation and cannot be substituted freely. The reservoir takes the oil the shaft displaces as it enters the damper.

Genuine Service Part

An original part keeps the unit within its published specification; a near-equivalent quietly moves it. A damper that can be rebuilt is a damper that stays on the bike; that is the whole argument for original service parts. Tell us the damper's model designation and year and we will match the number for you. We can check the number against the Öhlins exploded view before you order — just ask.

Identifying the Right Part

The reliable route is the exploded drawing: find the position, read the number, order it — 01042-13 in this case. dimension a 1 mm, dimension b 8 mm, dimension c 640 mm is what distinguishes this number from its neighbours in the range. Hose-mounted reservoirs allow installation where a piggyback would foul the chassis. Reservoir caps carry the gas valve and are torqued to a specification.

Fitting and Setup Service

Ask us about a full service: as an authorised Öhlins centre we strip, inspect, replace what is worn and set the unit back to its specification.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 01042-13

Category: Hoses

Dimension A: 1 mm

Dimension B: 8 mm

Dimension C: 640 mm

Thread: M10x1

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/01042-13_a17f7f49-af81-4cb0-9666-cd77e610f4a8.png?v=1788870437
