DescriptionThe whole story▼
The JP ACCGP KA054 for the Kawasaki ZX-10RR is machined from solid Ergal, the same 7075 aluminium family used in the rest of the GP Series, shortening the throttle's rotation to sixty degrees with a progressive spring and three external preload stages layered on top of that base.
Key Features
- Kawasaki ZX-10 RR (2021–2025)
- GP Series ride-by-wire quick throttle with a sixty degree rotation angle
- Progressive return spring, preload adjustable externally in three positions
- CNC-machined from solid Ergal 7075
- Plug-and-play on the motorcycle's own connector
- Standard throttle assembly refits at any time
Machined, Not Moulded
Starting from a solid block of 7075-grade Ergal rather than a cast or moulded part means the internal cam profile that shapes the throttle's response is cut with the same tolerance on every unit. That consistency matters most on a part that sits between the rider's hand and a homologation-spec engine.
The RR Suffix Means Something Here
Kawasaki builds the ZX-10RR as a homologation special for racing, with an inline-four tuned differently from the base ZX-10R and a focus that leans harder toward circuit use. A throttle that can be tuned in three preload stages fits a bike already built with that same single-mindedness.
Sixty Degrees for a Racing Inline-Four
Shortening the rotation to sixty degrees means less wrist travel between a closed throttle and one fully open, a change that matters most on an engine already engineered for a racing environment rather than everyday commuting.
Weight Saved, Strength Kept
Ergal removes material everywhere the cam profile and housing walls do not need it, keeping the throttle light in the hand without sacrificing the rigidity a billet part offers over a cast equivalent. The grip itself does not flex under hard use the way a lesser material might.
A Spring That Grows Firmer
The progressive return spring resists more as the throttle opens further, and its preload can be set across three external positions to suit anything from a sighting lap to a qualifying run, all without removing the housing from the bike.
Fits the ZX-10RR's Own Housing
Built specifically to this model's throttle body dimensions, the part installs without modification to surrounding bodywork, and a diagnostic reset of the throttle position after fitting completes the job.
