DescriptionThe whole story▼
On a Ninja H2, the most delicate part of a ride is often the first few metres. A supercharged four-cylinder delivers a lot of drive for very little throttle, and pulling away from a standstill, out of a steep driveway or down a pit lane, is managed almost entirely by the left hand. The ESH011 from Accossato gives that hand a machined aluminium lever to work with on the H2 of 2015 to 2020, and its reach adjustment places the friction point where your fingers can control it precisely.
Key Features
- Clutch lever for the Kawasaki Ninja H2, 2015 to 2020
- Replaces the original lever at the stock clutch mounting
- Reach adjustable near the pivot
- Three blade lengths: short, standard (approximately 138 mm), long
- Seven anodised blade colours, black hub
- CNC-machined aluminium
- Rigid blade without a hinge
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato's experience with brake discs comes from Superbike, Moto2 and Moto3, and its levers are finished with the same attention. The ESH011 is machined from aluminium on CNC equipment and then anodised in two tones: black for the hub, which holds the pivot and the adjuster, and the colour you order for the blade. Anodising makes the colour part of the aluminium surface, so it will not peel. The blade is fixed from end to end, with no joint that could add free play just where the clutch starts to bite.
Moving Off With a Supercharger
A bike with the performance of the H2 is at its least comfortable at walking pace. Clutch take-up has to be smooth and the throttle opening small, especially on cold tyres or on a damp surface, and any jerk in the left hand goes straight to the rear wheel. Reach adjustment helps here more than it might seem. When the friction point sits in the middle of the fingers' natural range of movement, small and precise changes are easy; when it sits at full stretch, the fingers can only make coarse movements. Set the ESH011 so that the clutch begins to bite with the fingers comfortably bent. The standard blade suits most riders on the H2; the long one lightens the pull for slow traffic, and the short one keeps two fingers on the lever and the rest on the grip, a set-up many riders like on track.
Fitment and Compatibility
This lever is listed by Accossato for the Ninja H2 from 2015 to 2020 and replaces the stock clutch lever at its original mounting. The EDF099 brake lever is the matching part for the right side and is listed for the same years, with the same black hub and choice of colours.
Road Approval
For the ESH011 on the Ninja H2, a German ABE is not documented; the lever is supplied for circuit riding.
Scope of Delivery
