This Accossato kit replaces the two rubber brake hoses on the Yamaha YZF-R125, built in 2014 and 2015, with braided line in the same front-and-rear Standard-layout positions. As a learner-legal sportsbike styled after Yamaha's larger R-series machines, the R125 is often a young rider's first experience of a bike with real sporting pretensions, and a sharper, more direct lever gives an early taste of what the bigger bikes in the range feel like under braking. Riders who later move up to a full-size R-series machine sometimes say the R125's upgraded brake feel was their first real introduction to what a proper sportsbike setup should deliver. Construction and Material Quality
Each hose wraps its inner line in stainless braid and finishes in a fitting turned from stainless steel, offered on this part either bare or painted in one of five colours. Race-replica liveries are common on this model, and a painted fitting in a matching shade is a small way to carry that theme through to the brake lines themselves.
A Learner Bike With a Full-Size Feel
Although the R125's engine is small, Yamaha gave it the same basic single-disc-front, single-disc-rear brake layout as its larger sportsbikes, so the two hoses in this kit cover the circuit the same way a kit for a bigger R-series bike would, just scaled to the smaller machine.
