DescriptionThe whole story

Height and mass are what make an adventure bike like the Triumph TIGER 900 RALLY PRO demanding under braking. ZCOO's answer is the B005 - the longest pad ZCOO builds - filling the Brembo caliper of the TIGER 900 RALLY PRO. EXR is new for 2026 and succeeds EXC Endurance rather than sitting beside it in the B005.

Key Features

  • ZCOO specifies this reference for the Triumph TIGER 900 RALLY PRO directly, not by cross-reference from a similar machine
  • One pack holds the two pads for a single caliper - a TIGER 900 RALLY PRO with twin front discs therefore needs two packs
  • No ECE R90 type approval is documented for this compound - treat the B005 as a track and competition part
  • Two pads per pack, matched as a set for one Brembo caliper
  • The B005 is one of 16 shapes ZCOO builds; this is the one your Brembo caliper takes
  • Developed on the same ceramic platform ZCOO supplies to endurance teams at Suzuka and the Bol d'Or

Construction and Material Quality

The construction of the B005 is where ZCOO's endurance experience actually shows. On the B005 the ceramic material is sintered onto a laser-cut metal plate rather than pressed against it. Together they remove the two things that normally end a sintered pad, and the B005 is built against both: fade at the top of the range, and the friction layer lifting away.

Performance and Feel

The mixture in the B005 changed in 2026, and so did the plate behind it. The reworked progression is what keeps the additional force usable at full lean. The Triumph TIGER 900 RALLY PRO rarely brakes on a warm disc, and the B005 does not ask it to.

Fitment and Compatibility

The 2026 listing puts the B005 on the Triumph TIGER 900 RALLY PRO for the 2020 to 2025 model years. The same B005 shape covers 117 further machines in the 2026 catalogue. Front axle only. Before ordering, check that your caliper takes a pad of 102.2 mm length and 42.0 mm height.

Road Approval

No ECE R90 type approval is documented for this pad. It appears neither in ZCOO's own catalogue nor on the European distributor's site, and no approval number is printed on the packaging data available to us. ZCOO itself describes the compound as suited to competition machines and road machines alike, but that is a description of the mixture, not a type approval. Until the distributor confirms an approval in writing, treat this as a track and competition part: in Germany a replacement brake pad without ECE R90 approval may not be fitted to a motorcycle used on public roads. Ask us before ordering if you need this clarified for your machine.
