DescriptionThe whole story▼

Machined from premium aluminium and finished in a palette of eight anodised colours, the Sitta 201W rear sprocket brings a level of craft and visual distinction that sets it apart from the standard item — and from the ordinary aftermarket. Designed specifically for the Kawasaki ZX-4RR Ninja across model years 2023 to 2026, it pairs authentic Sitta heritage with a weight of just 350 g (at 45 teeth) to sharpen the character of one of the most exciting four-cylinder middleweights on the market.

Key Features

  • CNC-machined high-grade aluminium construction for precise tooth geometry, low vibration and a weight of only 350 g at the 45-tooth size
  • 520 pitch — correctly specified for the ZX-4RR drivetrain, whether road or track-configured
  • 11 tooth options from 40 to 50 teeth, allowing genuine fine-tuning of gearing character to suit your riding style
  • Eight anodised finish options: silver, black, hard-anodised, green, red, blue, orange and gold — hard-anodised offering superior surface durability compared to standard anodising
  • Sprocket carrier pattern 80/104 — 6-bolt for accurate, straightforward fitment with no modifications required
  • Engineered for minimal wear under sustained high-load conditions, equally at home on track days and spirited road riding

Design, Finish and Heritage

Sitta has been producing precision drivetrain components for competition and performance road use for decades, and the 201W carries that lineage into the ZX-4RR generation. Each sprocket is CNC-machined rather than stamped, meaning the tooth profile is held to tight tolerances that translate directly into smooth chain engagement and reduced drivetrain noise over the life of the component.

The finish options are not a cosmetic afterthought. Standard anodising provides a corrosion-resistant, lightweight surface layer; the hard-anodised variant goes further, building a significantly denser oxide layer that resists abrasion from road debris and chain contact more effectively. Gold, blue, orange and green anodised options offer the same protection with a visual statement that complements the ZX-4RR's aggressive bodywork lines. Silver and black deliver the understated look suited to a track-focused build.

Gearing — Choosing the Right Tooth Count

The eleven available sizes give meaningful adjustment across the ZX-4RR's power band. Selecting a smaller sprocket in the 40-45 tooth range shortens the overall gearing ratio, reducing engine speed at a given road speed and extending top-end reach — well suited to longer circuits or motorway touring. Moving up to 46-50 teeth lengthens the ratio, improving pull out of tight corners and making the engine feel more responsive in everyday traffic or technical, stop-start circuits. The 201W's wide range means a single carrier serves every tuning scenario without the need for a different part number.
