Housings carry bores for adjusters and seals; their concentricity decides whether the unit seals. A housing carries adjusters and their seals, so its bores matter as much as its outside. A cracked bracket is a safety matter, not a cosmetic one.

Genuine Service Part

Öhlins publishes dimensions for its service parts so a workshop can verify before it fits. The part number is the contract: it defines material, dimension and finish together. Service parts are ordered per piece unless stated otherwise. We can supply the whole position from the drawing rather than the single piece if that is easier.

How to Be Sure It Fits

If the unit is already open, compare the dimensions below with the part in your hand before ordering 05688-20. This position has no published dimension, so the part number is the only reliable identifier. A cracked bracket is a safety matter, not a cosmetic one. Housing threads carry the adjusters and are the part that suffers if the adjuster is forced.

Fitting and Setup Service

We are an authorised Öhlins service centre, so you do not have to source the tools and the nitrogen: send us the damper and we rebuild it with the correct parts and the correct setting.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 05688-20

Category: Top Mounts

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/05688-20_8a1625d6-14d0-4e0d-a6d8-65de4c046441.png?v=1788874550
