Clamps have a specified torque; over-tightening distorts the bore they hold. A cracked bracket is a safety matter, not a cosmetic one. Brackets locate the damper or reservoir against the chassis and take the load in one direction only.

Original Öhlins Part

Öhlins manufactures service parts on the same lines as production parts — there is no second quality. This is an original Öhlins part, not an aftermarket equivalent — the tolerances are the ones the unit was assembled to. Öhlins parts are unit-specific: a close dimension is not a substitute. For a full rebuild, the seal kit plus the wear parts is usually the sensible order.

Getting the Number Right

06222-01 is the Öhlins number for this position — the same one printed in the service documentation. Öhlins does not publish a dimension here — go by the number and the exploded view. A housing carries adjusters and their seals, so its bores matter as much as its outside. Öhlins machines housings from solid billet rather than casting them.

Fitting and Setup Service

We are an authorised Öhlins service centre, so you do not have to source the tools and the nitrogen: send us the damper and we rebuild it with the correct parts and the correct setting.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 06222-01

Category: Brackets

Finish: Grey

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/06222-01_8eedb13b-626c-4482-9ba0-f543039c84e7.png?v=1788877668
