Coating is applied after setting so it does not affect the rate. Free length and inner diameter decide whether a spring fits; the rate decides whether it suits. A spring that has settled in service sits shorter than new and quietly lowers the ride height.

Genuine Service Part

An original part keeps the unit within its published specification; a near-equivalent quietly moves it. Öhlins manufactures service parts on the same lines as production parts — there is no second quality. Where a number has been superseded, Öhlins states the replacement — we pass that on. For a full rebuild, the seal kit plus the wear parts is usually the sensible order.

How to Be Sure It Fits

Öhlins identifies this position by the number 60531-01 in the exploded view for the unit it belongs to. dimension a 52 mm, dimension b 56.5 mm, dimension c 73 mm is what distinguishes this number from its neighbours in the range. Rate is chosen for rider weight and load, not for the machine alone. Öhlins winds, heat-sets and measures each spring individually.

Fitting and Setup Service

Ask us about a full service: as an authorised Öhlins centre we strip, inspect, replace what is worn and set the unit back to its specification.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 60531-01

Category: Springs

Dimension A: 52 mm

Dimension B: 56.5 mm

Dimension C: 73 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/60531-01_6ad660a8-f3f7-41dd-8a2c-55a33bc97467.png?v=1788881126
