Ordering the small parts with the seal kit saves the second delivery that most rebuilds otherwise need. Öhlins uses metric threads throughout, but the length and head form are specific to the position. Spacers are machined rather than cut, so the ends are square and the load is even.

Why the Original

The alternative to a service part is usually a new damper, which is why this catalogue exists. A damper that can be rebuilt is a damper that stays on the bike; that is the whole argument for original service parts. Öhlins parts are unit-specific: a close dimension is not a substitute. Order by part number — descriptions repeat across sizes, numbers do not.

Getting the Number Right

Order under 20045-04. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. The published dimensions are dimension a 27 mm, dimension b 39 mm, dimension c 25 mm — measure the old part against them if you are unsure. Sealing washers are consumables — they take their shape on first assembly and do not seal twice. A spacer sets an internal dimension: preload on a stack, free length, or the position of a piston.

Fitting and Setup Service

Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 20045-04

Category: Spacers

Dimension A: 27 mm

Dimension B: 39 mm

Dimension C: 25 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/20045-04_31f3ecda-62c7-4a5b-8a72-a59dfa1b4005.png?v=1788876729
