DescriptionThe whole story▼
The I2M Chrome Pro 2 represents the pinnacle of the Chrome dashboard lineage — a purpose-built racing instrument that transforms the cockpit of the Honda CBR 1000 RR-R SC82 into a fully professional data analysis centre. Where lesser displays report, the Chrome Pro 2 decodes every lap with the depth and precision that a Fireblade truly deserves.
Key Features
- 5-inch full-colour graphic display at 800 x 480 resolution — sharp and readable even under direct sunlight, with a racing-oriented layout designed around clarity at speed
- 10 Hz GPS for accurate trajectory mapping and speed measurement across every sector of the circuit
- 11 freely configurable high-brightness RGB LEDs for shift points, warnings or any custom alarm trigger you define
- 16 GB of internal storage supporting up to 500 laps per circuit, across 20 pre-installed race tracks with automatic track recognition
- 128 additional CAN-Bus acquisition channels sampling at up to 500 Hz per channel, delivering the data resolution that serious setup work demands
- Integrated 433 MHz TPMS receiver, tyre pressure and wheel temperature monitoring, Lambda controller with BOSCH LSU 4.9 sensor, WiFi and Bluetooth BLE — all in a single unit
Design, Finish and Heritage
I2M has built its reputation supplying dashboards to professional racing teams, and the Chrome Pro 2 carries that heritage visibly. The unit is engineered to the exacting tolerances expected at circuit level, with a display assembly that presents data cleanly at a glance rather than demanding the rider search for information mid-corner. As the flagship of the Chrome series, it sits at the top of a clearly structured product family — and every hardware and software choice reflects that position.
The 5-inch colour display is matched to a processing architecture capable of handling 128 CAN-Bus channels simultaneously, ensuring the visual output is always backed by genuinely high-resolution data underneath. The 11 RGB LEDs are individually configurable in colour and threshold, so the display can be personalised to each rider's preferred feedback style without compromise.
Chrome Pro 2 vs Chrome Lite — What the Pro 2 Adds
The Chrome Lite provides a strong foundation of dashboard functionality, GPS lap timing and data logging. The Chrome Pro 2 builds substantially on that base, adding the following capabilities:
- Extended CAN-Bus acquisition with significantly more channels and higher sampling rates for more precise data capture
- WiFi connectivity for wireless data transfer between sessions
- Bluetooth BLE for additional device pairing
- Integrated TPMS function for tyre pressure and temperature monitoring
- Integrated Lambda controller with video input capability
- 16 GB internal storage — a major step up in recording capacity
- RGB alarm LEDs with flexible per-channel configuration
- Greatly expanded rider and mechanic page options for customised display layouts
Chrome Pro 2 vs Chrome Plus2 — The Complete Package
The Chrome Pro 2 goes further still beyond the Chrome Plus2, with the inclusion of hardware that would otherwise require separate purchase and integration. Specifically, the Pro 2 features an integrated 433 MHz TPMS receiver capable of storing up to four sensors per wheel, and ships with two TPMS sensors and a BOSCH LSU 4.9 Lambda probe as standard. For riders building a comprehensive track-day or endurance setup, this makes the Pro 2 the most complete out-of-the-box solution in the Chrome range.
Additional items the Pro 2 includes over the Plus2:
- Integrated TPMS receiver — no separate module required
- Real-time tyre pressure and wheel rim temperature monitoring
- Two TPMS sensors included in the box
- BOSCH LSU 4.9 Lambda sensor included as standard
- Enhanced telemetry depth and track analysis capability across all sessions
SP Variants and HRC Setups
The Chrome Pro 2 is offered with plug-and-play adapter cards for the Honda CBR 1000 RR-R, covering both standard and SP model configurations. For machines running HRC wiring, an additional SCHRC adapter is required and is available as a separate option. The variant selector allows you to specify whether your machine has an HRC ECU or not, ensuring the correct interface configuration is supplied from the outset.
Who the Chrome Pro 2 Is Built For
This is the right dashboard for you if:
- You want to extract the maximum performance from your Fireblade on track using hard data rather than feel alone
- You require a single unit combining GPS lap timing, data logging, TPMS and Lambda analysis without additional modules
- You are developing your riding or your bike's setup in a methodical, data-led way across multiple sessions
- You are running an SC82 in standard, SP or HRC-oriented configuration and need a display system equal to the machine
- You want the definitive I2M Chrome dashboard — the one that includes every feature the range has to offer
Fitment & Compatibility
Designed and supplied with a Honda SC82 adapter for direct plug-and-play fitment on the Honda CBR 1000 RR-R SC82 across model years 2020 to 2026. Compatible with both the standard and SP variants. Machines fitted with HRC wiring require the optional SCHRC adapter in addition to the standard kit.
