DescriptionThe whole story▼
Inserts that sit in the open sections of the trellis frame, one per side. They close gaps that on this motorcycle are otherwise simply holes in the structure.
Key Features
- Left and right frame insert as a matched set
- Autoclave-cured 200 Plain weave, four finishes
- Original mounting points, no drilling
- Covers the exposed frame openings at the flanks
- Specific to the Hypermotard 698 Mono
A Frame You Can See Straight Through
The Mono uses its engine as a stressed member and carries very little around it, which leaves the steel trellis visible from both sides along most of its length. That is deliberate and it is a large part of why the bike looks the way it does.
These inserts work with that rather than against it. They fill the specific openings where a rider's leg passes, which tidies the area without covering the structure that gives the bike its character.
Where the Boot Goes
The practical side is simple: this is where a leg swings past on every mount and dismount, and painted steel marks. The inserts take that contact instead.
Fitment and Compatibility
Ducati Hypermotard 698 Mono, model years 2024 to 2026, on the original frame insert mounting points.
Road Approval
Fullsix publishes neither an ABE nor an EC type-approval number for this set. The inserts sit in the frame without altering it.
Fitting
Clean the frame around each opening first, because grit trapped behind an insert grinds in over time. Both sides in one session.
