The MY008 is Accossato's quick-throttle control for the Aprilia RSV4 RF (2015–2016), built with the GR006 two-toned racing grip rather than the one-tone GR001 or the fixed-finish GR002 used on the other two kits for this chassis. Five grip colours are offered alongside the usual eight cap colours, so the housing and grip can be set up as a two-colour combination rather than a single shade. As with the rest of the range, the AP010 cable set matched to this Aprilia and three interchangeable inner cams are included in the kit.

Construction and Material Quality
The MY008 shares its two-piece CNC-worked aluminium housing with the rest of Accossato's quick-throttle range, anodised in eight cap colours. The GR006 grip fitted to it is described by Accossato as two-toned, offered in five grip colours rather than the eight available with the one-tone GR001, which changes the colour combinations possible on the finished bike without changing how the housing itself is made. The same three inner cams, 40, 43 and 45 mm, come in the box, with a larger cam giving a quicker throttle and a longer rotation stroke of the grip according to Accossato, and a smaller one the opposite. The AP010 cable set included is cut specifically for this Aprilia.
Matching a Two-Tone Grip to the RSV4 RF
A two-toned grip gives more to work with when matching a bike's paint than a single-colour one, since the grip itself can echo two of the colours already on the bodywork rather than one. On an RSV4 RF, where Aprilia's factory liveries already combine more than one colour, picking from the GR006's five grip shades alongside the cap colour is where that combination gets decided, rather than being fixed by the kit itself. The trade-off against the one-tone GR001 is a narrower set of grip colours, five against eight, in exchange for the two-tone look.
Fitment and Compatibility
The RSV4 RF built across 2015 and 2016 is the fitment Accossato lists for the MY008, with the AP010 cable inside it cut specifically to that chassis; an RSV4 from outside those years, or the standard RSV4 rather than the RF, needs a different kit shown on the Fitment tab. The complete assembly replaces the Aprilia's original throttle control and cable run.
Road Approval
There is no ABE or parts certificate documented by Accossato for the MY008; registration rules depend on the country, so check before road use. After fitting, confirm that the throttle returns to idle by itself through its full range before riding the bike.
