DescriptionThe whole story▼
The rear brake of a Yamaha YZ250 is a tool the rider uses constantly, to set the bike up for a turn, to slow on a downhill and to keep it stable over bumps. Accossato lists the rear pad AGPP106 for the YZ250 across a long span, from 2003 to 2026, and this is the Organic version, SKU AGPP106OR. It suits hobby riders and returning riders who use their two-stroke on dry ground at a relaxed pace and want a smooth, controllable pedal.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato states that the Organic compound keeps its performance over a long time and limits disc wear. On the rear of a YZ250 used at a relaxed pace, that combination keeps maintenance low. We describe it as Accossato does and add nothing about its make-up.
A Smooth Rear Brake for Relaxed Riding
Hobby riders on a YZ250 often ride at a steady pace on dry trails or a quiet practice track. For them, the rear brake is mostly a tool for controlling speed on descents and settling the bike before a corner. A smooth, progressive pedal makes that easier and reduces the chance of an unexpected rear-wheel lock on hard-packed ground. The Organic pad gives the YZ250 that behaviour. For wet trails and muddy tracks, Accossato offers the same pad as ST and STMX. Riders who own an older YZ250 from the early years of that range will find it covered as well, which makes this pad a simple choice for a restored or long-kept bike.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists AGPP106 for the rear of the Yamaha YZ250 for every model year from 2003 to 2026. A single box covers the rear caliper. The front brake of the YZ250 uses AGPA110 (2008 to 2021) or AGPA288 (2021 to 2026), and the discs DK111 and DK168 are also listed. On an older bike, check the rear disc for wear and the brake hose for age while you are working on the caliper, then press the pedal until it feels firm again.
Road Approval
No ABE or approval document is on file with us for this rear pad. It is offered for competition use.
