DescriptionThe whole story

Touring braking is a marathon problem, and the Moto Guzzi STELVIO is built for the marathon. ZCOO cuts the B007 at 85.0 by 51.0 mm to fill the Brembo caliper window of the STELVIO. The compound is EX Race, which on the Moto Guzzi STELVIO builds force with the lever instead of ahead of it.

Key Features

  • Shipped in ZCOO's own packaging with the ZRM-B007C code printed on it, so a repeat order needs no guesswork
  • The ceramic layer is sintered to the plate rather than pressed against it, which is what keeps the B007 together at the top of its temperature range
  • Ceramic-sintered EX Race compound: on the STELVIO the braking force rises in proportion to lever pressure instead of snapping in
  • Low noise and low rotor scoring, which on an STELVIO means the discs outlast several sets of pads
  • Supplied as a pack of two - the exact set the Brembo caliper of the STELVIO takes
  • Wear indicator geometry unchanged from the standard Brembo pad, so the usual inspection still applies on the STELVIO

Construction and Material Quality

Two things define how a B007 behaves: the ceramic mixture and the plate under it. On a 85.0 by 51.0 mm face the backing plate decides whether the pad wears evenly or takes on a taper. None of it is visible once the B007 is in the Brembo caliper, which is precisely the point.

Performance and Feel

Riders moving to EX Race from an OEM organic pad usually describe the STELVIO's brake as becoming quieter rather than stronger. That band covers everything an STELVIO meets, from a cold first stop to a long descent. The fortieth stop of a day on the Moto Guzzi STELVIO should feel like the first, and with the B007 it does.

Fitment and Compatibility

The B007 is ZCOO's listed reference for the Moto Guzzi STELVIO between 2024 and 2025. ZCOO lists no rear pad for the STELVIO. Before ordering, check that your caliper takes a pad of 85.0 mm length and 51.0 mm height. The same B007 shape covers 111 further machines in the 2026 catalogue.

Road Approval

No ECE R90 type approval is documented for this pad. It appears neither in ZCOO's own catalogue nor on the European distributor's site, and no approval number is printed on the packaging data available to us. ZCOO itself describes the compound as suited to competition machines and road machines alike, but that is a description of the mixture, not a type approval. Until the distributor confirms an approval in writing, treat this as a track and competition part: in Germany a replacement brake pad without ECE R90 approval may not be fitted to a motorcycle used on public roads. Ask us before ordering if you need this clarified for your machine.
