Performance and Sound
SC-Project developed the SC1-R directly from their involvement in international racing series, and the results show in real-world performance. Removing the stock catalyst with the included titanium connection pipe opens up the exhaust path, improving throttle response and torque delivery across the rev range. The high-temperature sound-absorbing material inside the silencer produces a deep, authoritative exhaust note without the thin, harsh character of lesser aftermarket cans.

Materials and Construction
Two finish options are available, each suited to a slightly different priority. The titanium version (Y11A-DET90T / Y11A-DET93T) prioritises absolute minimum weight and exceptional corrosion resistance, making it the natural choice for dedicated track machines. The carbon version (Y11A-DET90C / Y11A-DET93C) combines a woven carbon fibre outer with equally aggressive weight savings and outstanding heat tolerance, giving street-legal track bikes a visual statement that is hard to ignore. Both versions share the same hydroformed carbon end-cap, CNC-machined titanium sleeve inserts, and included carbon fibre heat shield — there is no compromise on build quality between them.
