A spacer that is a millimetre short changes the preload on a shim stack, and with it the damping. Öhlins specifies thread-locking compound by position; not every fastener wants it. A plug that seals a gas port is a pressure part despite its size.

Genuine Service Part

The alternative to a service part is usually a new damper, which is why this catalogue exists. The part is identical to what Öhlins fits in production — same supplier, same specification. Öhlins numbers do not follow a logic you can guess — always read them from the documentation. The Öhlins exploded view names the number for each position; we can look it up if you do not have it.

Getting the Number Right

20047-02 is the Öhlins number for this position — the same one printed in the service documentation. dimension a 6.2 mm, dimension b 11 mm, dimension c 8 mm is what distinguishes this number from its neighbours in the range. Its length is a specification, not a filler — a millimetre changes what the unit does. Shoulder screws set a clearance as well as clamping, which is why the length is exact.

Fitting and Setup Service

Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 20047-02

Category: Spacers

Dimension A: 6.2 mm

Dimension B: 11 mm

Dimension C: 8 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/20047-02_ebdd94ed-a42b-4009-afb2-87dd11ea2560.png?v=1788879176
