What It Is
The published figures are 23 mm, 32.8 mm, 25 mm. Measure the old part against them before ordering. Öhlins publishes them in the exploded view so a workshop can order the whole position at once. Öhlins lists these individually because a service usually needs a handful of them. Spacers set the internal geometry of the unit, which means their length is a specification and not a filler.
Original Öhlins Part
Rebuilding to specification only works if the parts are to specification — that starts here. Suspension is one of the few areas where the original part is genuinely the cheaper decision. Order by part number — descriptions repeat across sizes, numbers do not. Service parts are ordered per piece unless stated otherwise.
Identifying the Right Part
Part number 21803-01 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. Öhlins states dimension a 23 mm, dimension b 32.8 mm, dimension c 25 mm for this number, and those figures are the deciding ones. Its length is a specification, not a filler — a millimetre changes what the unit does. A wrong washer under an adjuster changes the click range without anyone noticing why.
Fitting and Setup Service
We are an authorised Öhlins service centre, so you do not have to source the tools and the nitrogen: send us the damper and we rebuild it with the correct parts and the correct setting.
