What It Is
Öhlins gives it as 14 mm, 46 mm; nothing about that is approximate. Dust seals keep grit off the running surface; once they are torn, the oil seal behind them has a short life. Seal heads combine the oil seal, the dust seal and the bushing in one assembly. A seal head combines the oil seal, the dust seal and the shaft bushing in one serviceable assembly.
