Axle clamps and lower legs are machined to hold the axle without distorting the fork. Öhlins fork parts are specific to the fork model, not interchangeable across the range. The outer tube holds the bushings and the seal head, so its bore finish matters as much as the inner tube's outside.

Why the Original

Buying the individual part rather than a complete assembly is what makes servicing an Öhlins unit worthwhile. The part is identical to what Öhlins fits in production — same supplier, same specification. Where a number has been superseded, Öhlins states the replacement — we pass that on. If the unit is already apart, compare the published dimensions with the part in your hand.

Getting the Number Right

21727-02 is the Öhlins number for this position — the same one printed in the service documentation. dimension a 48 mm, dimension b 138 mm is what distinguishes this number from its neighbours in the range. Cartridge tubes sit inside the fork leg and do the actual damping. Öhlins fork parts are specific to the fork model, not interchangeable across the range.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 21727-02

Category: Outer Tubes

Dimension A: 48 mm

Dimension B: 138 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/21727-02_e5e07b95-2f27-43e1-9b9c-a360f58698b2.png?v=1788880157
