Öhlins revises kit contents as units change, so the number always reflects the current build. A kit is the sensible choice when the unit is already open. Service kits gather what one rebuild needs into a single number.

Original Öhlins Part

A damper that can be rebuilt is a damper that stays on the bike; that is the whole argument for original service parts. Öhlins keeps service parts available for units long after they leave the current price list. The Öhlins exploded view names the number for each position; we can look it up if you do not have it. If the unit is already apart, compare the published dimensions with the part in your hand.

How to Be Sure It Fits

Öhlins identifies this position by the number 06246-12 in the exploded view for the unit it belongs to. Where no measurement is given, the drawing position is what identifies the part. Service kits gather what one rebuild needs into a single number. Buying the kit is usually cheaper than the individual parts and avoids missing one.

Fitting and Setup Service

We are an authorised Öhlins service centre, so you do not have to source the tools and the nitrogen: send us the damper and we rebuild it with the correct parts and the correct setting.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 06246-12

Category: Service Kits

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/06246-12_1a0abffe-308d-4637-a614-fe40331442b8.png?v=1788877734
