The OBT009 is the rear bracket: 28.9 mm by 31 mm, black anodised, 10 g. Black anodised, and black is the whole range for the OBT009. Fitting it to a Brutale 800 is a job of minutes, not hours.

Key Features

It is the cheapest visible change on a Brutale 800

The rear bracket of the pair

Black anodised — LighTech makes this bracket in no other finish

A stock LighTech item rather than a special order

Simple, intuitive mounting — LighTech's own description, and it holds

10 g of bracket on the Brutale 800

Fitment and Compatibility

LighTech lists the OBT009 for the MV Agusta Brutale 800. Mounting is simple, but where it ends up on the Brutale 800 is your decision, not a fixed point.

Fitting

Fitting the OBT009 to a Brutale 800 is a hand-tool job. Offer the bracket up before tightening — the hose run on the Brutale 800 decides the angle. Everything removed from the Brutale 800 can go straight back on.

Position Is the Point

The bracket is the part that has to suit the Brutale 800, not the tank. The OBT009 is the rear of the two brackets, measuring 28.9 mm and 31 mm. One bracket per reservoir — the Brutale 800 needs the tank ordered alongside.

Before You Order

LighTech sells this mount on its own. It is made for the LighTech reservoir range and fits none of the original parts. A complete installation on the Brutale 800 is one tank plus one bracket.

Maintenance

Vibration finds every loose fastener on the Brutale 800 eventually. The OBT009 needs no maintenance of its own beyond that.

What Is in the Box

The OBT009 is supplied as a single bracket with its fasteners. The part number is all you need to quote for a repeat order on the Brutale 800.

Brake System and Road Approval

This part sits in the brake or clutch hydraulic circuit, which makes it more than a styling item. No approval paperwork comes with the OBT009 and we do not present it as approved. Ask your inspection body about the Brutale 800 before fitting, and do not skip the bleed.

Technical Data

Brand: LighTech

Part number: OBT009

Type: Reservoir bracket, rear

Height: 28.9 mm

Projection: 31 mm

Material: Anodised aluminium

Finish: Black only

Fits reservoirs: OBT001, OBT006, OBT007

Weight: 10 g

Fitment: MV Agusta Brutale 800 (2012 to 2026)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_OBT009_2ab96ade-6af5-480c-859b-2a76c8e57dc2.png?v=1791204270
https://inter-pace.com/en-pg/products/lightech-reservoir-bracket-rear-mv-agusta-brutale-800-2012-2026-obt009
