LighTech's OBT008 carries the reservoir at 60.6 mm height and 90.3 mm out from the mount. Black is the only finish this bracket exists in. It is among the least expensive visible changes you can make to a Z650.

Key Features

It is the smallest line on the order

A stock LighTech item rather than a special order

Nothing on the Z650 is drilled, cut or permanently altered

10 g on the Z650

Made in Italy

Covers the Z650 across 11 model years (2016 to 2026)

Where the Reservoir Ends Up

Two brackets exist for a reason: height and projection differ front to rear. The OBT008 is the front of the two brackets, measuring 60.6 mm and 90.3 mm. It fits the LighTech reservoirs OBT001, OBT006 and OBT007 and is sold without any of them.

Application

Fitment is the Z650 across 2016 to 2026. The bracket carries the reservoir; check the space on your Z650 before deciding front or rear.

Fitting

Installation on the Z650 needs no special service tool. Mount it so the reservoir sits above the master cylinder on the Z650, never below. Re-check the fasteners after the first ride.

Looking After It

Vibration finds every loose fastener on the Z650 eventually. Nothing else about the OBT008 wears in normal use.

What You Get

One bracket per package for the Z650. Packaging carries the reference, so a second order is unambiguous.

The Second Part Number

The OBT008 is a bracket and nothing else. It carries the OBT reservoir family (001, 006 and 007), which are ordered separately. If you are starting from nothing on the Z650, you need both lines on the order.

Road Use and Approval

What looks like a cosmetic swap on the Z650 is a change to a safety system. The OBT008 carries no approval mark. If the Z650 is used on public roads, treat this as a brake-system modification: inspection body first, workshop check after.

Technical Data

Brand: LighTech

Part number: OBT008

Type: Reservoir bracket, front

Height: 60.6 mm

Projection: 90.3 mm

Material: Anodised aluminium

Finish: Black only

Fits reservoirs: OBT001, OBT006, OBT007

Weight: 10 g

Fitment: Kawasaki Z650 (2016 to 2026)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_OBT008NER_d13a1e09-7f0a-4777-9cf1-6e4284ce10fa.png?v=1791204994
https://inter-pace.com/en-pg/products/lightech-reservoir-bracket-front-kawasaki-z650-2016-2026-obt008
