DescriptionThe whole story▼
The JP ES KIT17 completes the Daytona 675 R's complete secondary air path, both halves in a single box.
Key Features
- Triumph Daytona 675 R (2013–2018)
- Both halves of the secondary air deletion
- Solenoid eliminator and cylinder head cover
- One part number, one fitting session
- No drilling and no splicing
- Every standard part refits afterwards
Later Cars Carried the 2013 Frame
The R continued through the redesign with the shorter chassis and side exhaust, which makes the model year worth confirming before ordering anything.
Still Raced
Club grids continue to feature 675Rs a decade after production ended, because the chassis is good and the parts are still available.
No Diagnostic Afterwards
The circuit is satisfied rather than suppressed, so the display is clear from the first start and nothing needs clearing.
Keep Everything
The standard housing and the original connector both refit, and both are worth having if the motorcycle is ever sold or inspected.
An Evening, Not a Weekend
The work is straightforward and the parts are made to fit. What takes the time is patience with the bodywork rather than difficulty with the components.
Why Both Halves Belong Together
The electrical side stops the dashboard complaining and the mechanical side actually closes the path. Doing one leaves either a warning light or an open port with a perishable reed still in it, and neither is a finished job.
The Parts Are Worth Keeping
A complete standard secondary air arrangement takes almost no shelf space and turns an inspection or a sale from a problem into an evening's work.
Torque Figures Matter Twice
Once for the cylinder head cover into aluminium and once for the tank fasteners. Neither is high, both are easy to exceed and overtightening either is the commonest damage done during this job.
Test Cold, Then Ride
Start the engine in the garage to confirm the dashboard is clear, then ride with a few closed-throttle sections to confirm the noise has gone.
