DescriptionThe whole story▼

The JP ACCGP BM038 fits the 2019 to 2026 BMW S1000RR without disturbing the handlebar switchgear or the factory wiring loom, dropping the throttle's rotation to sixty degrees and adding a progressive spring with three external preload settings. Everything the rider's thumb already reaches stays exactly where it was.

Key Features

  • BMW S1000RR (2019–2026)
  • GP Series ride-by-wire quick throttle with a sixty degree rotation angle
  • Progressive return spring, preload adjustable externally in three positions
  • CNC-machined from solid Ergal 7075
  • Plug-and-play on the motorcycle's own connector
  • Standard throttle assembly refits at any time

A Switchgear-Heavy Cockpit, Left Alone

This generation of S1000RR carries a dense cluster of switches and a multi-mode ride controller on the left bar, with the throttle side kept comparatively simple. Replacing just the throttle mechanism leaves that whole switch layout untouched, so nothing about the rider's existing muscle memory needs to change.

Three Stages Without Opening the Housing Twice

The spring's preload moves between three external settings via a simple adjustment at the throttle body, meaning the housing is opened once for fitting and not again for every preference change afterwards. Riders can soften the return for slow urban riding and firm it back up before a track day.

A Four-Cylinder With Electronic Backup

The S1000RR's inline-four leans heavily on its electronics package to manage power delivery, which means the mechanical throttle itself only has to be consistent, not clever. A shorter, more progressive stroke gives the rider's hand a steadier reference point for the electronics underneath to work from.

Sixty Degrees at a Familiar Grip

Because the throttle housing bolts to the same points as the factory part, the sixty-degree rotation reduction does not change the diameter or shape of the grip itself. The bike feels the same in the hand; only the distance the hand has to travel is shorter.

Who Reaches for This Upgrade

Riders running current-generation S1000RRs on fast road routes or at trackdays tend to want more feel from the throttle without touching anything the factory electronics already manage well, which is exactly the boundary this part is built to respect.

A Diagnostic Reset, Then Done

After fitting, a diagnostic reset of the throttle position is the standard final step, after which the bike runs exactly as before apart from the shorter mechanical stroke. The original grip remains available for a full reversal at any later point.
