The JP ES 063 removes the evaporative emissions hardware from the Streetfighter V2 S 890 and frees the space it occupied, which on most models is space somebody else already wants.

The S Specification
Öhlins suspension and forged wheels, which is what turns a light motorcycle into one that can be set up properly for a circuit.
No Service Interval
Nothing in Ducati's schedule inspects or replaces the carbon. It works for some years and then quietly stops, with no warning of any kind.
The Advice Nobody Gets
Stop at the click. It is the most effective thing an owner can do to keep an evaporative system alive and it is never mentioned at handover.
Where the Fault Code Lives
Against the purge solenoid circuit, in the engine controller. The electronics have no way of knowing whether carbon is present and no interest in finding out.
A System Most Owners Never Think About
Evaporative control runs without rider involvement, produces no indication that it exists and is never mentioned at handover. The first anybody hears of it is a starting problem.
Not a Restricted Job
Nothing here requires specialist tooling, diagnostic access or manufacturer software. It is one of the more approachable jobs on a modern Ducati.
Ordinary Hand Tools
A socket, a screwdriver for the clips and somewhere to put the seat. Nothing else is required at any stage of the work.
The Vent Is Not Optional
A fuel tank has to breathe. Take the canister out without providing a proper vent and the tank either pulls a vacuum and starves the engine or pressurises and pushes fuel out somewhere unhelpful. The kit provides a fitting for that reason, and it is the part of the job nobody should improvise.
What a Saturated Canister Smells Like
Raw fuel, strongest in a closed garage a few hours after the motorcycle has been parked warm. It is the most reliable sign that the charcoal has stopped absorbing, and once it has, it does not recover. Replacing the canister costs considerably more than removing it.
