DescriptionThe whole story▼
Covers that follow the frame rails on both sides where boots, roots and rocks reach them. Supplied as a pair, in raw laminate only.
Key Features
- Left and right rail covers as one set
- Autoclave-cured carbon, raw
- Follows the contour of the chromoly frame
- Protects paint where boots grip
- KTM 300 EXC, 2018 to 2023
Where an Enduro Frame Actually Wears
Not in a crash. The damage accumulates from the rider: boots squeezing the frame through every rut, heels dragging across it during a dab, knees locking on for a step. Orange frame paint disappears from those exact strips faster than anywhere else on the motorcycle.
These covers take that wear instead, and when they are worn out they are replaced for a fraction of what a frame respray costs.
A Consideration for Resale
A used enduro bike is judged in the first ten seconds by how much orange is left on the frame. It says more about how the machine was ridden than an hour meter does, fairly or not, and covers fitted early keep that verdict favourable.
Fitment and Compatibility
KTM 300 EXC, model years 2018 to 2023, on the original frame rails.
Road Approval
Fullsix publishes neither an ABE nor an EC type-approval number for this set.
Fitting
Clean and degrease the rails thoroughly first. Two-stroke exhaust residue and chain fling build up exactly here and defeat any adhesive.
