DescriptionThe whole story▼

A supermoto like the Yamaha WR 250 X is often ridden through the whole year, including grey autumn mornings and wet mountain roads. For the WR 250 X of 2008 to 2016, Accossato offers its AGPA72 front pad in the Sintered (ST) compound. This is the version for riders who do not stop at the first rain shower, who ride over passes and along wet country roads and who want the front brake to feel the same from the first stop of the day to the last.

Key Features

  • AGPA72 front pad, Sintered (ST) compound
  • For the Yamaha WR 250 X, 2008 to 2016
  • High, constant grip at low and high temperatures
  • Grips well on wet discs, per Accossato
  • Made for all-season riding
  • One set per box, front caliper
  • OR, EV1 and EV2 versions also listed

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato's claim for the Sintered mix is a high, constant grip level at high and low temperatures and good performance in the wet. For the single front brake on a light supermoto, a consistent response in changing weather is the core requirement.

Wet Roads on a Light Bike

A light supermoto on a wet road asks for a front brake that the rider can trust. On the WR 250 X, a sintered pad responds quickly when the lever is pulled on a wet disc, so there is no delay while water clears. That matters on narrow mountain roads, where rain often arrives suddenly and the surface changes from dry to wet within a few bends. The lever point stays consistent as temperatures change, which helps the rider keep a steady rhythm.

Autumn Commutes

Leaves, damp shade and cold mornings mean mixed grip. A front brake that behaves the same in all of them makes daily riding calmer, and the ST version of AGPA72 is designed with that in mind.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato lists AGPA72 for the Yamaha WR 250 X from 2008 to 2016; the rear pad is AGPP106. The bike has one front caliper, so one box covers it. Replace both pads together, clean the pistons, check disc thickness and fluid condition, and pump the lever firm before setting off. Bed the pads in with moderate stops.

Road Approval

No German ABE or test mark is on file for this pad. It is supplied for racing and competition purposes.

Scope of Delivery

One box with two AGPA72 pads in Sintered (ST) compound for the front caliper.
