DescriptionThe whole story▼

Accossato's AGPP91 rear pad in Organic (OR) compound fits the Zero FXS from 2016 to 2022. On a supermoto used around town, the rear brake is working all the time: holding the bike still, controlling it through slow manoeuvres and helping on slippery surfaces. The organic mix gives a smooth, progressive response and treats the disc gently, which fits the everyday role of the FXS.

Key Features

  • AGPP91 rear pads for the Zero FXS 2016-2022
  • Fits ZF3.3, ZF3.6 and ZF6.5 per Accossato
  • Organic (OR) compound
  • Longer performance and less disc wear, according to Accossato
  • Gentle pedal feel for slow manoeuvres
  • Also available for this pad: ST, STMX
  • Two pads for the rear caliper

Construction and Material Quality

In Accossato's words, the organic recipe gives longer performance while sparing the disc. A rear brake on an electric supermoto rarely gets hot, yet it is touched dozens of times on every trip into town, and a mixture that tolerates such modest temperatures without losing its bite is a sensible match. Accossato, which started out in 1969 in Moncalieri near Turin, keeps heavier and muddier jobs for the other compounds of this pad.

Tight Turns and Parking Manoeuvres

Picture the FXS being swung round in a cul-de-sac, nudged backwards between two parked cars or held on a steep driveway while the garage door opens. Each of those moments asks for a rear brake that you can dose with the tip of your boot. An organic rear pad bites softly, so the small wheel does not lock unexpectedly on a dusty kerb, and it stays silent on a machine whose motor barely hums. Courier riders and students who use the FXS for errands will recognise the pattern: dozens of tiny applications a day, very few hard ones. Look at the remaining friction material whenever the tyres are checked.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato lists AGPP91 for the rear of the Zero FXS ZF3.3 and ZF6.5 of 2016 and 2017 and the ZF3.6 from 2016 to 2022. The front pad for the same bikes is AGPA92. Replace both rear pads together and bed them in gently over the first few rides. Keep chain lube and cleaning sprays away from the rear disc, as contamination ruins an organic pad quickly.

Road Approval

We have no test or approval documents, German ABE included, for this rear pad; it is offered for racing and competition use.

Scope of Delivery

A pair of organic rear pads for one caliper.
