DescriptionThe whole story▼
Low seat, easy clutch, friendly power: the Triumph Speed Twin 900 is the bike many people choose when they want a classic look without a demanding machine. It spends much of its time in suburbs and city centres, and its front brake is used gently and often. Accossato lists the AGPA112 front pad for the Speed Twin 900 from 2019 to 2024, and this box holds it in the Organic (OR) compound, which brings smooth, quiet stops and looks after the disc.
Key Features
- Front brake pads for the Triumph Speed Twin 900, 2019 to 2024
- Accossato AGPA112 in the Organic (OR) compound, article AGPA112OR
- For suburbs, city centres and everyday errands
- Accossato cites performance that lasts and reduced disc wear
- Two pads in the box; the single front disc needs one box
- Other compounds: ST, EV1, EV2 and ZXC
Construction and Material Quality
The friction material in this AGPA112 is organic, one of five options Accossato offers for the shape. The maker says it keeps performing for a long time while wearing the disc less. Riders of an approachable twin like the Speed Twin 900 rarely heat their brakes much, so a pad that is effective from cold and kind to the disc makes more sense than a compound designed for heat.
A Friendly Front Brake
Many Speed Twin 900 owners are relatively new to riding, or have returned after a long break. For them, a front brake that answers gently at first and then builds up progressively is reassuring: it lets them brake firmly without fearing a sudden grab. Organic pads are known for that kind of soft initial response and for quiet running. Practise emergency stops in an empty car park now and then, squeezing progressively rather than snatching the lever. When the pads get thin, replace them before the backing plate reaches the disc.
Returning After a Break
Riders coming back to motorcycling after years away often find modern brakes stronger than they remember. A soft-starting organic pad on the Speed Twin 900 eases that adjustment while the old reflexes return.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato catalogues this front pad for the Triumph Speed Twin 900 built from 2019 to 2024. The bike has one front disc and caliper, so a single box does the whole front. For the rear, Accossato lists the AGPA76 covering 2016 to 2025. The AGPA112 can also be ordered in Sintered, EV1, EV2 and ZXC.
Road Approval
We hold no ABE for this pad and no road inspection report. It is therefore offered for circuit and competition use.
