DescriptionThe whole story▼

For the 2024 Zero DS with the ZF17.3, Accossato lists the AGPA96 front pad, here in the EV1 street/track compound. It is aimed at riders who use the electric dual-sport for more than commuting: brisk rides on winding roads, perhaps an amateur circuit day. Accossato says the EV1 gives excellent grip for street riding and amateur track use, giving the front brake a sportier character than the everyday materials.

Key Features

  • Front pads for the Zero DS, 2024 model year
  • Listed for the DS ZF17.3
  • AGPA96 shape in the EV1 street/track compound, reference AGPA96EV1
  • Strong grip for fast road riding and amateur track use, per Accossato
  • Firm, communicative lever feel
  • Two pads per box, the set for one caliper
  • No German ABE held; for track use

Construction and Material Quality

The EV1 filling in the AGPA96 is Accossato's material for spirited road riding and first steps on track. The company highlights its excellent grip in both settings. On the 2024 DS, that translates into firmer bite when braking harder than usual, while still being manageable. It also aims for long life and limited fade. OR, ST, EV2 and ZXC versions are listed for the same pad. The box contains two pads.

Winding Roads on an Electric Bike

Electric bikes invite a flowing riding style: smooth throttle, no gear changes, quick drive out of corners. On a twisty road, the front brake sets the pace into each bend, and a sportier material makes those stops more precise. Riders who try a closed circuit should also remember that the regenerative effect of the motor and the tyres fitted to a dual-sport both shape how the bike slows; the brake pad is one part of the picture.

Pad Care

Check pad thickness and disc condition before each season. When changing pads, clean the pistons before retracting them, check fluid level and pump the lever until firm. Bed in new pads with several progressively firmer stops.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato assigns the AGPA96 to the front of the 2024 Zero DS with the ZF17.3. The front of the 2015 to 2017 DS takes the AGPA92. The AGPA29 is listed for the rear of the 2024 bike, and the AGPP91 for 2014 to 2017. One box covers one caliper, so check your front brake layout.

Road Approval

We have no test documents or German ABE for this pad. It is offered for circuit riding and competition.

Scope of Delivery

Two EV1 front pads in one box for one caliper of the Zero DS.
