DescriptionThe whole story▼

Not every Triumph Street Scrambler is ridden gently. Some owners of the 2019 to 2022 bike like to push on through a series of bends on a favourite road, or book a relaxed trackday to explore the chassis. The Accossato AGPA112 front pad in EV1 street/track compound is aimed at them, giving more bite than the everyday options while remaining usable on the road home.

Key Features

  • AGPA112 front pads for the Triumph Street Scrambler, 2019 to 2022
  • EV1 street/track compound, article AGPA112EV1
  • For brisk riding on twisty roads and an occasional trackday
  • Accossato claims strong grip on the road and on amateur circuits
  • One set of two pads for one caliper
  • Also on this shape: OR, ST, EV2 and ZXC
  • No German ABE; supplied for competition use

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato describes EV1 as giving excellent grip for street riding and for amateur use on track. The recipe is bonded to the AGPA112 plate that the maker lists for the later Street Scrambler front caliper. As with its other pads, Accossato states the aims of slow wear, resistance to fade and strong stopping power, and the EV1 compound applies them to faster road riding.

Getting More From Your Favourite Road

A Street Scrambler is not a sports bike, but ridden briskly on a tight road it uses its front brake hard and often. A compound that responds sharply and holds its feel as it warms helps the rider place the bike accurately before each bend. If you plan a trackday, arrive with pads that are already bedded in, fluid that is fresh and a disc free of deep scoring. Between sessions, let the brakes cool before parking with the lever held, and look at the pad edges for signs of uneven contact.

Road Manners After the Fun

EV1 is designed to remain usable at everyday temperatures, so the ride home after a lively afternoon does not call for a pad change. That makes it a practical match for a later Street Scrambler that serves as both a daily bike and an occasional toy.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato lists the AGPA112 for the Triumph Street Scrambler front from 2019 to 2022, recorded as Street 900 Scrambler. The 2017 and 2018 models use the AGPA72. With one front caliper, a single box fits. The AGPA76 is the listed rear pad for 2017 to 2022, and the DK203 disc also appears in Accossato's catalogue for this bike.

Road Approval

Test certificates and a German ABE for these pads have not been provided to us, and we sell them for closed-circuit and competition use.

Scope of Delivery

The box contains two AGPA112 front pads in EV1 street/track compound, a set for one caliper.
