DescriptionThe whole story▼
A torquey 300 two-stroke on a hard, grippy surface arrives at corners fast, and the front brake then has real work to do. For the TM Racing MX 300 two-stroke from 1998 to 2025, Accossato also makes the AGPA29 front pad in EV1 street/track. It is meant for firm ground, for supermoto builds and for riders who want the sharpest first bite available on this plate.
Key Features
- AGPA29 front pad for the TM Racing MX 300 2T, 1998 to 2025
- EV1 street/track mixture, article AGPA29EV1
- Excellent road and amateur track grip, says Accossato
- Firm initial bite on grippy ground
- For supermoto builds and hard-pack
- OR, ST and STMX also offered
- Two pads for one caliper
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato's EV1 is described as a mixture with excellent grip for street riding and amateur track use. On an MX 300 that places it on firm ground and tarmac. Like the other Accossato compounds, it is designed to limit heating, wear slowly and stop strongly.
Torque Meets Tarmac
The MX 300's low-down pull makes it an entertaining base for a supermoto project, and on a hard summer track the bike gathers speed quickly between corners. In both cases the front tyre has more grip than on loose dirt, and the front brake can be used much harder. EV1 is designed for that: a strong, direct bite and resistance to fade through a session. On typical motocross ground with loose soil, mud or sand, the OR, ST and STMX versions of this plate are the more sensible choice.
A Note on Setup
If the MX 300 has been converted with a larger front disc or a different caliper for supermoto use, the pads may change as well. Check the plate shape of your current pads before ordering.
Bedding In on Tarmac
New pads need a short bedding-in before hard use. On a supermoto MX 300, ride a few laps with moderate stops that gradually get firmer, then let the brake cool before pushing. That gives an even contact between pad and disc and a more predictable lever for the rest of the day.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato gives AGPA29 as the front pad for the standard MX 300 two-stroke from TM Racing, 1998 to 2025. One box renews the single front caliper. For the rear, the AGPP106 plate applies from 2005 onward.
Road Approval
We have no ABE or approval documents for AGPA29EV1. It is offered for motorsport use.
