DescriptionThe whole story▼
For the current Yamaha YZ250F, built from 2024 to 2026, Accossato specifies a two-hose kit rather than the single line it lists for the previous generation, reflecting a brake circuit change that came with this update. The same part also covers the 50th Anniversary and Monster Energy editions of the bike, as well as the related 450F and its own 70th Anniversary version. Owners of one of the anniversary editions sometimes want the whole bike, brake hose included, to look as close to showroom condition as possible, which is where the choice of braid colour matters most.
Key Features
- Two-hose set built to the Standard (S) layout
- Covers the current YZ250F and its anniversary editions
- Aeronautical braid sheath in 20 colours
- Painted stainless steel fittings in red, green, blue, black or gold
- Every hose in the kit finished to the same specification
Construction and Material Quality
Both hoses are built from stainless braid over the inner line, with fittings made from stainless steel, offered painted in five colours or bare. The twenty-colour braid range gives an owner of one of the anniversary editions scope to either match the bike's special livery or set the brake lines apart from it.
A New Generation, a New Hose Count
Yamaha's update to the YZ250F for this generation changed the brake routing enough that Accossato moved from one hose to two, distinguishing this part from the single-hose kit, AGA0276, used on the 2021–2023 model.
Fitment and Compatibility
This kit fits the Yamaha YZ250F built between 2024 and 2026, including the 50th Anniversary and Monster Energy editions for 2024. For the 2021–2023 YZ250F, which also covers the YZ450F of those years, Accossato lists the single-hose kit under part AGA0276, and for the 2014–2020 YZ250F, a two-hose kit under part AGF9431. Checking the exact model year against Accossato's fitment tab is worthwhile, since three different hose configurations cover this one nameplate across its history. Because the anniversary editions share this same part number with the standard bike, there is no need to order anything different for a special-edition machine.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for this kit, so it is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
The kit contains 2 braided hoses for the Standard layout. Fittings such as banjo bolts and copper sealing washers are not listed as included, so it is worth checking the connecting hardware already on the bike before starting the job.
