DescriptionThe whole story▼

The Suzuki GSX-S1000F added a full fairing to the GSX-S1000 roadster, turning it into a sporty tourer with good wind protection. Owners use it for long motorway stages, weekend trips and daily rides in any weather. AGPA106 in the Sintered (ST) mixture is Accossato's front pad for the GSX-S1000F from 2015 to 2023. It is aimed at riders who cover real distances, carry luggage or a passenger and ride through wet spells without changing plans.

Key Features

  • Front pads for the Suzuki GSX-S1000F, 2015 to 2023
  • Sintered compound, article AGPA106ST
  • Steady grip in cold and hot conditions, per Accossato
  • Accossato notes good wet-road performance
  • Suits touring with luggage and a passenger
  • Rear pad AGPP88 and disc DK251 listed
  • Pads for one caliper per box
  • No German approval documents; for track use

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato's claim for Sintered is a high, constant grip whatever the temperature and good bite on wet roads. On a faired tourer that sees long days and changing weather, that consistency is the main benefit. The manufacturer also names low wear, restrained heat build-up that keeps fade small, and strong stopping among its pads' properties.

Long Days Behind a Fairing

A day on a GSX-S1000F might start with a cold motorway run, continue over a pass and end on wet roads near home. The brakes see every kind of use in between. With panniers and a passenger, the front calipers carry extra load on each stop. Before a long trip, look at the pads on both sides, check the discs for grooves, and change the brake fluid if it is due. Fresh pads should be bedded in on the first few dozen stops rather than on the first steep descent. Always change both front sets together so that both calipers work the same way.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato lists AGPA106 for the GSX-S 1000 F from 2015 to 2023. The GSX-S1000F has two front calipers; one box holds the pads for one of them, so buy two for the front. AGPP88 is the rear pad for the model, and DK251 is the Accossato disc. The same front pad is also available as EV1 street/track, EV2 racing and ZXC ceramic racing.

Road Approval

For AGPA106ST we have no ABE or German test document, so the pads are listed for competition use.

Scope of Delivery

Two Sintered pads in one box, one front caliper's set for the GSX-S1000F.
