DescriptionThe whole story▼
On a technical trail, the left hand of a 690 Enduro R rider rarely rests. Every rocky step, tight switchback and muddy climb asks for a touch of clutch to keep the big single turning without stalling or spinning the rear tyre, and after a few hours the forearm starts to burn. Accossato's ESA090, listed for 2013 to 2023, lets you set the lever's distance from the grip so that your fingers work where they are strongest.

- Adjustable distance to the grip
- Long blade in blue, gold, green and orange for a lighter pull

Construction and Material Quality
Dust, rain and grit are the working conditions of this lever. The ESA090 is milled from aluminium on CNC machines and anodised, black at the hub, which carries the pivot together with the reach setting, and in the colour of your choice on the blade. There is no folding joint. The blade is fixed in one piece, so what your fingers do reaches the clutch without loss or lag, and the lever returns to the same position whenever you let go. The anodised surface has one more advantage off road: there is no coat of paint for grit to scratch through, and the lever can simply be washed along with the rest of the 690 Enduro R.
When the Forearm Starts to Burn
Off-road riders call it arm pump: the forearm muscles tighten after long periods of gripping and pulling, the fingers lose strength and control suffers. Tension causes it more than effort, which is why the first remedy is to hold the bar more lightly and let the legs grip the bike. The lever can help too. If it sits too far away, every pull starts with the fingers stretched open, their weakest position, and the forearm has to work harder for the same result. Bring the ESA090 in until the blade meets the middle of your fingers with the hand loose around the grip, and each pull begins where the fingers are strong. Blade length changes the effort as well. The long blade, offered in orange, green, gold or blue, gives more leverage and reduces the force per pull, which adds up over a day of feathering the clutch in first gear on the 690 Enduro R. The short blade is for riders who prefer one or two fingers and keep the rest around the grip. Whatever you choose, try the setting on an easy trail before a long day, and when the forearms start to tighten, stop for a minute and stretch the fingers.
Fitment and Compatibility
With a listing from 2013 to 2023, the ESA090 covers a long run of 690 Enduro R model years and fits the clutch mounting KTM installed. On the brake side, the EDB012 is listed for the 690 Enduro R from 2014 to 2020, in the same colours and lengths.
Road Approval
No documentation of a German ABE exists for the ESA090, and it is sold accordingly for use on the track.
