DescriptionThe whole story▼
This Accossato kit fits the non-ABS Yamaha YZF-R6 built between 2017 and 2020 with three hoses laid out to the Full-length layout, each running on its own from the master cylinder to the caliper it serves. Without ABS in the circuit, this generation of R6 needs only the three lines, and running them independently rather than along the factory's own hose paths sharpens the lever further for a bike already built with the track in mind. Riders who track this generation of R6 regularly often remove the ABS fuse entirely for lapping days, which is part of why a non-ABS-specific kit like this one has a following among that crowd.
Key Features
- Three-hose set built to the Full-length (F) layout
- Built for the non-ABS 2017–2020 R6
- Aeronautical braid sheath in 20 colours
- Painted stainless steel fittings in red, green, blue, black or gold
- Supplied as a complete braided hose kit under this part number
Construction and Material Quality
Each hose combines a stainless braid sheath with fittings made from stainless steel, available painted in five colours or bare on this part. Race-replica liveries are common on the R6, and a painted fitting in a matching colour is a small way to carry that theme through to the brake lines.
Full-Length Routing Without ABS
Each of the three hoses runs independently to its caliper under the F designation, rather than one line continuing on to a second caliper as the Standard layout does. That is a different approach from the five-hose Standard-layout kit Accossato lists for the ABS version of this same generation.
Fitment and Compatibility
This kit fits the non-ABS Yamaha YZF-R6 built between 2017 and 2020. Riders with the ABS version of the same generation should instead use the five-hose Standard-layout kit, part AGA0170, and those with the earlier 2006–2016 R6 should use the separate Full-length kit listed under part AGF9686. Riders converting a track-only R6 away from ABS entirely sometimes choose this kit specifically because its hose count already assumes the modulator is out of the circuit.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for this kit, so it is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
The kit contains 3 braided hoses for the Full-Length layout. Fittings such as banjo bolts and copper sealing washers are not listed as included, so it is worth checking the connecting hardware already on the bike before starting the job.
