DescriptionThe whole story▼
Designed and machined in-house at Forsaken Motorsport's Canadian facility, this linear rocker link for the Suzuki GSX-R 1000 (2017–2023) transforms the rear suspension's progressive rate into a far more consistent, predictable one — giving you the traction and confidence to ride at the limit all day without fatigue or guesswork.
Key Features
- Converts the factory progressive suspension rate into a linear one for improved traction and more intuitive power delivery throughout the stroke.
- CNC-machined from a solid aluminium billet on a Haas VM3 mill at the Forsaken Motorsport facility in Canada — no outsourcing, no compromise.
- 35% stiffer than the original rocker link, significantly reducing flex and deflection under hard acceleration and braking loads.
- Fully compatible with the standard spring; spring and valve tuning can be adjusted to suit individual rider preference and take advantage of the flatter progressive rate.
- Supplied with new bearings for a fresh, rattle-free installation — original bolts, sleeves and seals can be re-used to keep the job clean and simple.
- Direct bolt-on fitment for the GSX-R 1000 2017–2023 with no modification required.
Performance & Build Quality
The stock GSX-R 1000 rocker link uses a pronounced progressive rate that softens initial suspension response before ramping steeply as stroke increases. For riders pushing hard on track or demanding roads, this creates a sensation of inconsistency — the bike feels different in slow corners versus fast ones, and feedback through the seat can be difficult to read. Forsaken Motorsport's linear rocker link addresses this directly by re-profiling the leverage ratio so the spring rate remains consistent across the full range of travel. The result is a suspension platform that responds predictably to every input, building the kind of all-day confidence that lets you focus entirely on the ride rather than compensating for unpredictable behaviour.
Machined from a solid aluminium billet rather than cast, the link is measurably stiffer than the OEM part — 35% by Forsaken Motorsport's own testing — which eliminates the micro-flex that can rob feedback from an otherwise well-set-up chassis. The in-house Haas VM3 machining ensures consistent tolerances on every unit that leaves the workshop.
Installation & Adjustment
The kit arrives with new bearings pre-selected for the application, so there is nothing to source separately. Your original hardware — bolts, sleeves and seals — drops straight in, keeping installation time short and cost minimal. The stock spring is retained by default, though riders who want to explore the full benefit of the linear rate are encouraged to experiment with spring rate and shock valving to suit their weight and riding style.
Fitment & Compatibility
This rocker link is engineered exclusively for the following model:
- Suzuki GSX-R 1000 (2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023)
Important: this component is rated for solo rider use only. Pillion or two-up riding is not compatible with this link.
