DescriptionThe whole story▼

The Suzuki DL800 V-Strom SE is a bike for covering distance, and plenty of owners ride it right through the year, whatever the season brings. AGPA38 in the Sintered (ST) mixture is the front pad Accossato lists for the DL800 V-Strom SE from 2024 to 2026. It is for riders who want a front brake with a steady, predictable pressure point in the rain, in the cold and with luggage and a passenger on board.

Key Features

  • Front pads for the Suzuki DL800 V-Strom SE, 2024 to 2026
  • Sintered compound, SKU AGPA38ST
  • High, stable grip at low and high temperatures, per Accossato
  • Grips well in the wet
  • Suited to two-up touring and all-season use
  • Rear pad for the SE: AGPP88
  • EV1, EV2 and ZXC made on this plate too
  • No ABE held by us; for track use

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato's description of the Sintered compound focuses on consistency: a high grip level that holds at both low and high temperatures and good performance in the wet. On a touring bike, where the brakes may be cold at breakfast and hot after a descent at lunchtime, that is useful. Accossato also claims long life and strong stopping power.

A Two-Up Weekend in Changing Weather

Picture a weekend tour on the V-Strom SE: two people, a top box and panniers, a mountain pass on Saturday and rain on the way home on Sunday. The front pads have to deal with a heavy load, repeated hairpins and wet tarmac. A sintered pad gives a pressure point that stays in the same place, so the rider can judge each stop without surprises. Brake early and progressively with a passenger, so they are not thrown forward, and agree on a signal if they want you to slow down. Before the trip, check pad thickness and fluid level, and look at the discs for deep grooves.

Fitment and Compatibility

AGPA38 is listed by Accossato for the DL 800 V-Strom SE from 2024 to 2026. One box fits one caliper, so check how many front calipers your bike uses before ordering. At the rear, the listed pad is AGPP88. Riders who take the bike to a circuit can choose the EV1, EV2 or ZXC mixture on the same plate.

Road Approval

No ABE or German approval documents for AGPA38ST are on file with us. It is supplied for racing use.
