DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Hyperstrada 939 was the last of its line. Ducati built it as the touring version of the Hypermotard 939, with luggage, a taller screen and a more comfortable seat, and when the Hypermotard moved on to the 950, no Hyperstrada followed. Owners of a model that is no longer made know that parts can become harder to find as the years go by, and that a damaged lever should not wait until then. For the Hyperstrada 939, Accossato lists the AGS310, a black replacement clutch lever in the original form, for the 2016 model year.

Construction and Material Quality
For a bike that is no longer built, a replacement from an independent maker is a practical way to keep it complete. The AGS310 is Accossato's original spare parts type, made in the form of the standard lever so that the Hyperstrada 939 keeps its look. Accossato developed these levers for value for money and attributes increased resistance after damage or collisions to its manufacturing process. The colour is black. The company, which began in Moncalieri near Turin in 1969, gives no further details.
Keeping a Discontinued Model on the Road
A few habits make life easier with a bike that is no longer in production. Keep a list of the codes of the parts that wear or break most easily, levers included, and buy the small items while they are easy to get. File the service history and the original documents together, since they record the model year and version you need when ordering. Owners' forums and clubs are useful for sharing experience with the model. When something breaks, fix it properly rather than improvising. A bent clutch lever is a good example: straightening it may look thrifty, but it weakens the lever exactly where it was bent. Fit a replacement instead, with the pivot cleaned and lightly greased, and before the next ride on the Hyperstrada 939 check that the lever moves freely and returns fully, that the clutch switch reacts and that the clutch engages and frees cleanly at a standstill.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato's list gives the AGS310 for the Hyperstrada 939 of 2016 only, and no other replacement clutch or brake lever is named for it. If your bike is registered with a later model year, compare the photo with your lever or send us a picture before you order. The same AGS310 is listed at Inter-Pace for the Hypermotard 939, the Hyperstrada 821 and the Monster 821. Accossato's CNC levers EDB012 for the brake and ESD082 for the clutch are also available for the Hyperstrada 939.
Road Approval
