DescriptionThe whole story▼

In enduro and trail riding, the rear brake is used much more than on the road: to control speed on descents, to steer the bike and to keep it stable in ruts. For the Yamaha WR250F from 2003 to 2013 and 2015 to 2024, Accossato lists its AGPP106 rear pad, and this listing is the Organic (OR) compound. It is meant for trail riders at a relaxed pace, especially those still learning rear brake control off-road, who want a gentle and predictable response.

Key Features

  • AGPP106 rear pad in Organic (OR) compound
  • For the WR250F, 2003 to 2013 and 2015 to 2024
  • Gentle, progressive pedal response
  • Accossato: long performance, limited disc wear
  • Suits relaxed trail riding and learners
  • One box for the rear caliper
  • ST and STMX also available

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato's claim for the Organic compound is longer-lasting performance and limited disc wear. For a rear brake used gently on trail rides, those properties keep running costs down.

Learning Rear Brake Control

Good off-road riders use the rear brake constantly, but new riders often lock the rear wheel on descents. An organic pad on the WR250F helps here, because it responds gradually to pedal pressure. That makes it easier to learn how much rear brake the ground can take before the wheel starts to slide. On steep slopes, the rider can drag the rear brake gently to control speed. It is also quiet, which is appreciated on road sections.

Other Compounds

If you ride in mud and water often, STMX is the rear pad designed for that. For wet and cold riding, ST is available.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato lists AGPP106 for the WR250F from 2003 to 2013 and again from 2015 to 2024, including the EFI and the 2018 ENDURO GP. No year 2014 appears in the list. Front pads for the WR250F are AGPA51, AGPA110 and AGPA288, depending on year. One rear caliper means one box. Accossato also lists the DK111, DK168, DK268 and DK269 discs for this bike. Clean the pistons before retracting them, check fluid and disc, and pump the pedal until firm.

Road Approval

No German ABE or test certificate is available. The pad is supplied for off-road competition use.
